  • Level 4



    Under construction ...

    1 – You are in front of the door of the blacksmith.
    Pick up a mortar and pestle and some reagents on the floor,
    then mix the reagents in the mortar into a flask to create some potions if you want.
    There's also a magic map on the floor (or a recipe for a shield potion, depending on the difficulty level).
    Pick it up and use it to look at the level map.
    Also pick up the sack and head east to the room at (2).

    2 – Entering the room will close the door behind you.
    Kill the rat and the snake (this will reopen the door).
    Then pick up a bow, an arrow and the tankard.
    The door leading to an altar can't be opened from this side.
    So, head back to the forge entrance (1) and this time go west (3).

    3 – Stepping on the pressure plate will release a monster like a gargoyle.
    Kill it and step on the second pressure plate to open the door and continue to (4).

    4 – Kill the goblins.
    There's a chest behind grates and a lock, but you don't have the key.
    To the west, there are some traps triggering spikes if you walk on them, so be careful.
    To cross the spikes safely, put something on the floor to trigger the trap and get it back,
    then move quickly forward while the spikes are retracting.
    The corridor to the south leads to stairs (29), but you need a key to open the door on the next level.
    So continue west to the next room (5).

    5 – Kill the monsters.
    There's another chest behind grates and a piece of coal on the floor next to it.
    You don't have the key of the lock, so continue to the west, break the barrels and move forward to (6).

    6 – There's a fake wall to the west leading to a room whith other barrels.
    Break them, and pick up the gear on the floor behind one of them and head back.
    Then continue to follow the corridor to the north (7).

    7 – Walking on the pressure plate will trigger a trap shooting fireballs at you.
    Put something on the pressure plate to disable the trap and head back to avoid the fireball.
    Then step on the second pressure plate next to the trap to open the door at your left and another
    door to the south behind you.
    Kill the dog to the north and pick up the dropped ruby key.
    Then head south to the room at (8).

    8 – Kill another gargoyle.
    Then pick up a key on the floor (and a recipe, depending on the difficulty level).
    Pull the lever to open the second door next to the fireball trap.
    Head back to the rap, then go to the room at your right (9).

    9 – Pull the two levers to disable the spike traps and pick up the blue gem on the floor.
    then head to the other room to the north (10).

    10 – Drink some water and fill your waterskins at the foutain.
    There's a stone with two gem holes.
    Place the blue gem found at (9) in one of the holes.
    Then head back to the forge entrance (1).
    Open the door of the blacksmith with the ruby key found at (7) and continue to (11).

    11 – Pick up a key on the shelf to the west and go downstairs to level 5 (A).

    Kill the monsters, pick up a key on the next corridor floor to the west and head south.
    Use the key on the second door lock and meet the blacksmith.
    There's another key behind him. Pick it up and open the first door.
    Pick up the red gem in the alcove and go back to the forge.

    The blacksmith is here and asks for some pieces of coal.
    Give him coal, but he wants more.
    Head back to the first chest at (4), open the grate with the key found on the shelf,
    then pick up the contents of the chest.
    Then head back to the second chest at (5) and use the key found at (8) to open the grate.
    Pickup the contents of the chest and a piece of coal on the floor next to it.
    Then head back to the stone with the gem holes at (10), and place the red gem in the second hole.
    Step on the pressure plate to open the door nearby and head to the next room (12).

    12 – Kill the rats and pick up the leather jerkin.
    Push a secret button next to a door to the west to open it and continue to the north (13).

    13 – There's a piece of coal hidden next to a bag. Pick it up and break the barrels to the west and head to (14).

    14 – Pick up the breads and save your progress at the altar.
    Then, go back to (13) and follow the corridor to the north (15).

    15 – There's a fake wall to the north with some gold.
    Pull the middle lever to disable a trap at (23) and destroy the moving spikes to open the door to the north.
    Then head to the next room (16).

    16 – Kill the goblins and press a secret button to the south next to the grates to open one of them.
    Then pick up another piece of coal on the floor between two bags.
    Then head to the room with many pressure plates to the north (17).

    17 – You must step on the pressure plates in the correct order to reach the other side without closing the door.
    For this, step on the first pressure plate [1] in the corner to the west,
    move forward and step on the next pressure plate [2],
    then step aside and step on the pressure plate behind you [3],
    then step aside and step again on the second pressure plate [2],
    finally, step aside, walk on the pressure plate [4] in front of the door and continue to (18).

    18 – There's a secret button next to the grates to open the door to the pressure plates if it has been closed.
    For now, drink some water at the fountain, pick up gold and reagents and put something on the pressure plate
    to the south to open the door. Then head to the next room (19).

    19 – Avoid the trap throwing stones and head east through a fake wall, break the barrels and pick up a second gear
    on the other side of the room, then head back.
    Break the barrels to the west and follow the corridor, avoid spikes, until you reach an alcove at (20).

    20 – There's a book in an alcove, but for now you can't open the grate to pick it up.
    Step into the teleporter next to the "no return" inscription to find yourself in a corridor
    to the northwest at (21).

    21 – Move forward, at a point you will notice a sort of screen stuttering, your direction has been inverted.
    Turn back to the right direction and advance some more steps. There’s a secret button on one of the side walls.
    Press it to open the wall to the south and contine to a secret area at (22).

    22 – There's a big gem on a pedestal. Pick it up and head back to the corridor.
    There's now an open secret place with a monster and a lever.
    Kill the monster and pull the lever to open another place nearby.
    Do the same there and finaly go to the pedestal and pull a third lever to open the teleporter path.
    Step into the teleporter to go back near the inscription on the wall at (20).
    You can now pick up the book.
    From there, go back to the room next to the altar (13), and head east to (23).

    23 – There are three alcoves to the south and an inscription about "gems, war and beers".
    Put the big gem you found at (20) in the right alcove, the tankard you found at (2) in the left alcove
    and leave the "good axe" in the middle alcove.
    Press the button on the left to open a secret wall behind you.
    Pick up the "dispel magic powder" in the chest of the secret room to the north.
    Then head to the next room to the east (24).

    24 – Kill the snakes and press a secret button to northwest to open a wall nearby.
    Then pick up some gold and a third gear in an alcove.
    Go to the door next to two braziers and put the powder found at (23) in the flames.
    This will dispel the magic on the door and it will open.
    Many monsters await you in the next room (25) and especially an orc chief.

    25 – Do not enter this room for now, but draw the orc into the other room (24)
    because it's more easy to fight him there by turning around one of the middle walls.
    Once defeated, the orc drops a sack with some food.
    Kill the other monsters and pull the two levers to the east to open two doors, one leading to an altar to the south (27)
    and one to the east (26).
    Head to the altar and save your progress then head back and go to the east (26).

    26 – There's a ring in an alcove, pick it up.
    If you go downstairs, you can open the door of a shortcut to the forge.
    For now, head back to the altar room at (27).

    27 – Pick up the two pieces of coal on the floor next to a pressure plate.
    Then place the gears you found at (6),(19) and (24) in the box to the south
    and pull the lever nearby to open a secret passage to (28).
    Continue to the secret area at (28).

    28 – There are many interesting things here as armors and weapons guarded by two snakes.
    Kill the two snakes and pick up everything.
    It's time to go back to the forge (11), talk with the balcksmith and give him all the coal he needs.
    To thank you, he gives you the key to the next level and tells you to come back later.
    So head to the stairs leading to level 5 at (29).

    29 – Go downstairs to the next level.
